Awards & Prize Giving Evening
Combined Masters, Seniors & Juniors
WHEN: Friday 26th November 2010 6.00pm – 9.00pm
WHERE: Auckland Badminton Association, 99 Gillies Avenue, Epsom, Auckland.
This year we are going to have a combined “family” Christmas, Awards and Prize Giving night combining the winning teams and individuals of the seniors and juniors. It is designed to be a fun night were we as the ABA family can celebrate the last 12 months and congratulate the winning teams, individuals and those that made it happen during the year. The evening is designed to be inexpensive for everyone but we will be have a two course meal as the ABA (you) now own and operates the Killer Shot Café & Bar so we have flexibility in how we utilise this and the stadium resources.
The fun family night will look like this:
6.00 to 7.00pm fun teams event on the 8 courts where the young and not so young compete.
7.00 – 9.00pm Two course dinner that includes Ham on the Bone, salads, hot potatoes, fresh fruit salad, ice cream and pavlova.
Presentations are being made as we have dinner to ensure we keep the evening moving with very limited talking but lots of action.
Get a team together as over dinner we are going to have a team game with prizes that will be lots of fun.
All profits will be for the teams who go to the NI Championships in Palmerston North including raffles and fun games during dinner.
Over 16 prizes and spot prizes will be given away on the night.
Christmas Ham to be won in the Raffle.
$15.00 for those over 20 as at 31 December 2010 (last year it was $40.00)
$5.00 if you are under 20 as at 31 December 2010 (This is to help pay for the two course dinner).
Cash Bar including coffee and Tea from the café.
It is a strictly pay in advance by 5.00pm Wednesday 24th November for catering purposes.
Tickets are available at the Office or you can collect them on the night.
